Security deposit terms and conditions.
To ensure the integrity of our property during your stay, a security deposit of CAD $500 is required. This amount is not a resort fee, but a temporary hold to cover any potential damages.
Secure Collection
The deposit is collected two (2) days prior to your arrival via a secure Stripe payment link that you will receive by email. You must complete this collection within 24 hours to confirm your reservation. Failure to pay the deposit will result in the cancellation of your stay. This process ensures that the funds are temporarily held by our system prior to your arrival.
Refund under Inspection
The refund of the amount is conditional on the inspection of the accommodation after your departure.
A full refund of CAD $500 will be issued within five (5) days of the end of your stay, subject to a satisfactory inspection of the premises.
This inspection allows us to verify the absence of major property damage or excessive cleaning fees. If the property is left in good condition (excluding normal wear and tear), the amount will be immediately refunded to the credit card/other payment method used for the Stripe charge. In the event of damage, we will contact you within the same 5-day period to inform you of any necessary deductions, before issuing a refund of the remaining amount.
